Here at NaturePac we pride ourselves on offering our customers the widest range of alternatives to plastic packaging. Going plastic free is big news at the moment and rightly so. It isn't always easy and it takes a continuous conscious effort to change the 'plastic habit'. Even we don't get it right all of the time, as one of our customers quite rightly pointed out. What is important is that we constantly look at our processes and make improvements, Rome wasn't built in a day, and plastic use will not stop over night, but we have to keep chipping away at it, no matter how big or small the change.
We recently had feedback from our customers, Instagram-er @Felicity_lock, she placed an order for some compostable products, which we duly sent out in a cardboard box, all fine, except we used plastic tape to seal the box. Quite rightly this customer pick up on it...
"You cant wrap your 'natural' products using brown plastic tape. The box then has to go to landfill which is ironic. Brown paper gluey tape - the old fashioned one, is the only way then everything can be recycled." @felicity_Lock
Upon receiving her email we set about sourcing a suitable plastic free tape... and we found one!

From now on we will be using this tape in our warehouse.
We feel that making changes such as this will make a wider difference but it take a conscious effort.
